Pictures of a typical installation of a safe room into installed into an existing closet. In swing door is installed into the safe room with three slider and locking door handle. Wall switch is for light which is added to safe room. Sheet rock will be added to the room for finish.
These units are custom built to the size of the closet and are generally 7ft to 8ft tall. Safe room sits off the existing wall about 1 to 2 inches all the way around. The safe room is easily hidden from view by the use of a door located on the opposite side of the opening as shown in the picture below. All assembly is done from the inside of the closet. Once assembled the unit is anchored into the existing slab. Conduit is added where needed for elecrical, lighting, phones, etc. Wedge anchors and two part epoxy for attachment to existing concrete floor. Designed so doors align with existing opening. May be fire proofed to be used as a gun vault.
